This is one of the most popular hikes in the Ladysmith area. It is 5.6 Km. long and takes about 2 hours for the upper and lower loops. There are several access points but the most accessible is the one off Dogwood Drive. The trail along the south bank is more rugged while the trail along the north bank is wider and leveller.

Yellow Point Park

Located in North Oyster, this 128-acre nature park is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Hike along the trails, have a picnic, and enjoy stunning scenery and wildlife. Park amenities include a picnic area, trails, parking, and toilet facilities. To get there, head east off of the Trans-Canada Highway onto Cedar Rd. Take a right onto Yellow Point Rd. The park will be on the left after Keene Rd.

Ladysmith Marine Walk

Marinas, off leash dog parks, historical artifacts, museums, logging displays, playgrounds, shopping, restaurants, ocean views, and waterfront walkways. This walk has it all.  The walk begins and ends at the Transfer Beach Park, follows the waterfront through the off leash dog park and past Marinas to Nicholson Road, before it crosses the highway and returns through downtown Ladysmith along 1st Avenue. Recross the highway on Roberts Street and return to the start along Transfer Beach Boulevard.  Total time for this 4.10 Km. walk is just under an hour.
