Edmonton, Quesnell Bridge to Buena Vista Footbridge

You can walk from the westside to the eastside of Edmonton along both sides of the Saskatchewan River.  There are frequent vehicular and pedestrian bridges allowing you to break up the distance into short 1-2 hour loops.  The following walk starts at the Quesnell Bridge and follows the south bank of the river to the Buena Vista Footbridge and then returns along the north side of the river by the Edmonton Valley Zoo. The City of Edmonton provides excellent online River Valley Trail Maps which can be downloaded onto portable devices.

Edmonton, Quesnell Bridge to Fort Edmonton Footbridge
