Figure Eight Lake

It takes 47 minutes to complete this 3.74 Km. walk. The trail is mostly a mown path with only a short segment on the entrance road to the park. Start at the parking area for the boat launch and walk around the lake until the trail comes out on the entrance road. Follow the road to the picnic area by the wharf and follow the open area, paths, waterfront and roads through the campsite until you return to the boat launch. Located about 20 km northwest of Grimshaw, Figure Eight Lake offers forested campsites and a variety of water-based activities including swimming, boating and year-round fishing. Due to low water levels, the boat launch can only be used for hand launching.
